Doral Steel is pleased to announce the purchase of the following:
Braner Double Loop Slitting Line with a
60,000 pound max coil capacity, a
72” max width, a
¼” max gauge
and 1000 feet per minute max line speed.
This line will not only provide increased efficiencies, eliminate camber issues, provide cleaner edges but also will allow us to virtually process every possible order under our roof.
The line also comes equipped not only with a gamma for gauge inspection, has cameras installed for surface inspection but also comes with a tension stand along with cluster levelers for improved shape.
We are excited not only about this addition to our processing capabilities, but also our recent acquisition of the Tennessee facility and the impending installation of Enmark’s Pro-Flo production system that these expenditures should point out to vendors, customers and all our fellow employees alike that Doral Steel is investing in the future and committed to staying competitive within our industry for many years to come.
We believe we have improved our quality with this investment, our communication with Pro-Flo and that these improvements will result in overall greater customer satisfaction.

Doral Steel is pleased to announce the purchase of the assets and operations of Liberty Steel of Tennessee located in Clinton, Tennessee.
We currently have some long-term connections with existing southern customers that have wanted us to have a local presence to better serve their needs. We have also had conversations with southern vendors that could possibly better serve both locations. As you are all aware there are tremendous opportunities in many varied industries in this geographical area.
We have already purchased the entire inventory of master coils and finished goods and are presently in the process of closing on the building and equipment.
The facility has over 45000’ square feet of production space under crane and is aided with rail capacity to help offset the higher cost of transporting by truck.
