Storage and Delivery - JIT & Other Money Saving Technology

There is no question that "Just in Time" philosophy of inventory and storage is a benefit to the customer. We will buy materials from the mill and store it on our floor (we have 175,000 square feet of warehouse space!). This means you can benefit from lower insurance costs, better cash flow and delivery as you need it.

Our plants cranes are capable of handling up to 65,000 pounds and we have tow motors with 12,000 pounds capabilities. This allows us to process even the largest coils.

Doral Steel maintains a bar coded inventory system meeting the standards of the AIAG. Our system, in fact, goes one step beyond and allows extra bar coding data for customers with special coding requests. Our computer system allows automatic inventory updates, faster processing of an order and easier delivery inspections for you, our customer.
